The Art of Making Observations, Thinking for ones-Self and asking Questions allows for in depth discovery towards acquiring the Truth of a matter. Right?
Of course, it’s normal that as breathing-thinking human beings we can differ in appearance, personality, and in our views and opinions on various topics. However, it is a living hope that at some point when the sky falls that we all can discover where we share common ground and be willing to agree to disagree on certain issues. Perhaps if we abandon our insatiable desire to aggressively persuade or control the perceptions of others we can release ourselves from being intrenched in conflict.
What happens to let the best idea win? An example of a particularly extraordinary idea comes to mind in reflections on a good idea. The Idea of the American Republic. In its fresh new vibrant moment in history, The United States of America began to streamline towards national sovereignty with freedom and liberty on its mind. Of course, this innovative governmental ‘Idea’ manifested onto the World Stage displaying all its growing imperfections as well as monumental prosperous achievements with, get this, the involvement of imperfect people. Yet, truly if we are honest there are no perfect people. The only one that was and is completely perfect is Jesus (believe it or not). With that said indeed we can also infer that the true dichotomy exists between unadulterated wicked people and the victorious righteous children of God. Yes of course this good vs. evil narrative seems like a go-to movie plot but as they say, ‘Art can and does imitate life.’
Of course if we co-exist with people who are cruel, deceptive, and have a heart made out of stone strategically placed in positions of power we can expect oppression. What kind of world do you think we’ll involuntarily abide in if we allow such individuals to remove all opposition to their tyranny?
It seems the answer is clear here. The world becomes a living hell! A world filled with darkness where good becomes evil and that which is evil becomes good. Bondage replaces freedom and agony replaces rejoicing.
History teaches us that Perhaps we need Big Truth to combat the Big Lie?
Anyway. It’s High time we think for ourselves truly. There is nothing wrong with being a critical thinker and examining two sides of a story. However, it seems for some this is a high crime worthy of strict suppression. Under the disguise of promoting tolerance, there is a disturbing underbelly of actual intolerance of anyone who does not accept what others think they ought to. At the end of the day, we have to choose as our ancestors have long ago what we want future generations of beings to experience based on our current actions. History has its play. Now it is OUR TURN. Do we want to be docile robots programmed not to think, not to feel, stripped of our humanity, and individual our God-given liberties while being left docile and subservient. God Forbid!
